Roten Daumfix thumb orthosis with lycra protective sleeve

Immobilising the thumb without giving up everyday tasks: Roten Daumfix is a compact, lightweight orthosis, almost unnoticeable, that stabilises the thumb and the metacarpophalangeal joint.

Features

• Smoothed, tumbled polypropylene body, gentle on the skin
• Elastic hook-and-loop strap for secure, personalised adjustment
• Protective stretch cotton (lycra) sleeve to wear under the orthosis
• Compact size and discreet colour
• Left and right versions, sizes S, M, L and XL

Indicated for thumb base osteoarthritis (rhizarthrosis), thumb tendinitis, De Quervain's tendinopathy, metacarpophalangeal sprains, Steiner lesion, after-effects of Bennett fracture and after trapeziometacarpal arthrodesis or other thumb surgery. Put on the sleeve first, position the orthosis, then adjust the strap. Compact and lightweight, it leaves the other fingers free to move. The lycra sleeve adds comfort against the skin and helps prevent irritation.
